Pitti Uomo announced on Friday that it will launch its digital offerings via its Pitti Connect experience tomorrow, January 12th. The digital format of the 99th edition of Pitti Uomo will run through the end of March.

In his announcement last week, Raffaello Napoleone, the CEO of Pitti Immagine, said that the organization is also keeping its previously-announced hybrid physical/digital option open for February 21st-23rd. Napoleone noted he will have more guidance on this physical edition by the end of this week. “We are ready on both fronts, fully aware of the situation, and proud of the approximately 250 companies that have put their faith in us in the current climate and want to work with us,” Napoleone said.

Meanwhile, as Pitti Connect launches this week, the trade show is revealing its planned live-streamed activations. First up will be the previously-announced presentation of Brunello Cucinelli’s autumn/winter 2021 collection live from Solomeo on Tuesday, January 12th at 10:00 am CET.

Herno

On Wednesday, January 13th at 10:30 am CET, Herno’s Claudio Marenzi will report live from his showroom in Milan to discuss the upcoming Herno and Laminar autumn/winter ‘21 collections. The focus is on Herno Globe, a label dedicated to the brand’s green products, with the special participation of Oscar Farinetti live from Turin, where the first Green Retail park, Green Pea, was recently opened.

On Thursday, January 14th at 2:30 pm CET, Kiton will open the doors of its atelier in Naples, sharing with the public the mission of being the brand chosen by the most sophisticated connoisseurs of every generation, while remaining faithful to tradition, with a soul constantly projected on innovation.

And, on Thursday, January 21st at 10:30 am CET, Lardini will host a live presentation, led by the family of entrepreneurs from the Marche region, in the production spaces of the brand’s headquarters.

“The Pitti Connect platform has been heavily revamped compared to last summer,” added Agostino Poletto, general manager of Pitti Immagine. “The new functions have been designed and realized to satisfy the requirements of the companies with regard to their relationship with buyers. The principle is to give our exhibitors an opportunity to release as much content as possible throughout the period they are online.”
