RALPH LAUREN UNVEILS OLYMPIC CLOSING CEREMONY UNIFORMS
The United States Olympic Committee debuted Polo Ralph Lauren’s signature U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Closing Ceremony parade uniforms for the Rio 2016 Games during a fashion segment on NBC’s Today Show on Wednesday, April 27.
Olympic silver medalist Haley Anderson (marathon swimming), Olympic champion Jordan Burroughs (wrestling) and 11-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte (swimming) revealed the men’s and women’s Closing Ceremony parade uniforms.
The look for Polo Ralph Lauren’s 2016 official Closing Ceremony Uniform is crisp, sporty and classic, and features an all-American palette of red, white and blue, including a Pony-emblazoned button-down shirt, offered in a choice of three patriotic colors – red, white or blue, worn over a striped t-shirt and paired with chino shorts. Classic boat shoes get the team treatment in navy, white, and red. Striped cotton bracelets and classic repp-stripe belts offer the perfect touch of sport and style. Men’s prices range from $79.50 to $350.
The Closing Ceremony Uniform is currently available for purchase beginning on April 27 on Ralphlauren.com, while the Polo Ralph Lauren Team USA Collection will be available beginning in May in select Ralph Lauren and Polo Ralph Lauren retail stores, Ralphlauren.com, select U.S. department stores and online at TeamUSAShop.com. The Collection will also be available at the USA House Shop in Rio, open during the Olympic Games.
