REBOOTING THE SUIT: GLADSON NEW YORK, MR MAGAZINE AND VITALE BARBERIS CANONICO PANEL DISCUSSION MARCH 9TH
MR Magazine Editor-in-Chief Karen Alberg Grossman will moderate a panel of custom clothing experts, editors, writers, and influencers for a lively exploration of changes in tailored clothing this Thursday, March 9th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Gladson’s New York showroom, 720 Fifth Avenue, 9th floor. The panel will consider regional trends, the impact of social changes on the traditional suit, and what the industry can do to invigorate the suit and encourage men to dress up again. This two-in-one event also features a “book chat” with author, blogger, and fashion entrepreneur Fabio Attanasio, who will sign copies of his latest book from a two-part set, Scent of Tailoring.
The panel discussion begins at 6:00 p.m. and will be live streamed on YouTube. Gladson New York is co-sponsoring this event with Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC), Italy’s oldest (founded in 1663) and largest luxury fabric mill. The panelists include Attanasio, Valentina Berti, PR and Communications Manager of Vitale Barberis Canonico, Vaughn Granger, Sr., of Granger Owings, in Colombia, South Carolina, Karl-Edwin Guerre, photographer and editor-in-chief of No Chaser Magazine, Jorge Saez, owner and founder, Artigiano Coral Gables, and Shao Yang, owner, and founder of The Tailory New York.
