Retail Opens Today In Ohio. Here’s What You Need To Know.
You can go shopping today in Ohio. But, it’s not going to be like it was pre- Covid-19. There’s going to be more hand washing and sanitizer. More masks, on employees and likely some customers. And lots and lots of social distancing. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has called reopening a “gamble” and a “high-risk operation” but acknowledges the state’s shuttered businesses and unemployment are also a devastating problem. It’s a store-by-store decision, so even though nonessential stores are allowed to reopen today, that doesn’t mean they all will. REI and TJ Maxx at Rookwood Commons will both be closed, for example, according to people who answered the phones there. Other stores, like those at the Cincinnati Premium Outlets, are operating on reduced hours as a way of easing back into operation. Read more at Cincinnati Enquirer.
