by MR Magazine Staff

NEW YORK – Alan Rubin has been promoted to director of sales of the Kenneth Cole licensed programs of the Lanier Clothes branded division of Oxford Industries.

In a related development, Laura Korzon has joined Lanier as merchandise manager for the Kenneth Cole unit, reporting to Rubin.

Rubin has been with Lanier for two years, most recently as vice president of special programs. In his new position, he reports to Dana Verrill, president of Lanier Clothes.

Rubin will be responsible for all three labels obtained by Lanier in its recent licensing arrangement with Kenneth Cole Productions – Kenneth Cole New York, Reaction and Unlisted. He will be based in Lanier’s New York offices.

Prior to joining Lanier, Rubin worked with Hartmarx and Marcraft and also operated his own tailored clothing business. Korzon was previously with Hartmarx, which discontinued its licensee relationship with Kenneth Cole earlier this year.
