RUNWAY REPORT: PERRY’S VERY SALABLE IN SPRING ’16

What I liked best about the Perry Ellis fashion show last week was that so many of their great pieces were actually salable: athleisure bottoms paired with great sweaters, shorts layered over leggings, simple suits, fun jackets. I also loved chatting with PEI president and COO Oscar Feldenkreis and Macy’s VP Les Steiger about the state of menswear business. Steiger’s teenage daughter Meggie was with him for her first-ever fashion show, the beginning of another illustrious retail career we’d bet!
