SAKS FIFTH AVENUE OFFERS NYC MADE-TO-MEASURE EVENT THIS WEEKEND

[metaslider id=107570] Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York City flagship is celebrating its annual “Some Like It Custom” made-to-measure event through Saturday, March 12. Participating brands will include Canali, Kiton, Isaia, among others, and there will be promotions and giveaways from such brands as Clinique, Ferragamo, Hermes, Kiehls, Luxottica, and Ralph Lauren.

To kick off the event, Saks and luxury magazine Robb Report co-hosted a special event on Wednesday, March 9 entitled “La Dolce Vita” on the sixth floor, encouraging guest to “Live the Sweet Life,” the theme of Robb Report‘s March issue. Guests were able to sample Italian delicacies from restaurants such as Le Cirque, nibble on Urbani truffles, look at motorcycles from Ducati and cars from Lamborghini, and listen to a jazz quartet. A portion of sales proceeds from the evening benefited Save Venice, an organization devoted to preserving the art and architecture of the beloved Italian city.

Among those who attend Wednesday’s event were Tom Ott, SVP and GMM of Men’s, Shawn Howell, vice president and divisional merchandising manager, Kiton president and chairman Massimo Bizzochi, Isaia president James Shay, and Robb Report editor in chief Brett Anderson.
