SCHMOOZING: IZIPIZI X ENGINEERED GARMENTS LAUNCH PARTY
Parisian B-Corp certified optical brand Izipizi has collaborated with Engineered Garments on an optical and sunglasses eyewear collection. The two brands hosted a party at Nepenthes in New York City last Thursday evening to celebrate. Guests, including actress Kelly Rutherford, Drew Jessup, and others, were on hand to celebrate. Sake Ono was served to guests throughout the event.
The exclusive collaboration embodies the urban spirit and invites an immersive journey through the diversity and energy of both Paris and New York City. Echoing Engineered Garments’ unique aesthetic, born from its founder Daiki Suzuki, Izipizi honors material detail work and offers bold frames in animal prints and camouflages. Blending two inspiring worlds, these pieces strike a delicate balance between trendy and timeless, combining simplicity, originality, and boldness.
In 2021, Izipizi set a target to achieve 30% of production using bio-sourced materials, i.e., materials partly derived from plants.To this end, in June 2021, it introduced a new material composed of 45% castor oil, resulting in an equivalent reduction in fossil fuels. The company was certified as a B-Corp last July.
