[metaslider id=”143163″] On Tuesday, February 6, American sportswear brand Original Penguin debuted its spring 2018 campaign, starring music group AJR, with a launch party and performance at Piano’s in New York City. Notable attendees included Alex Sharp, Broderick Hunter, Emery Kelly, Ricky Garcia, and more.

AJR is a New York City-based indie band composed of multi-instrumentalist brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. Their latest album entitled The Click features platinum hit single “Weak” and current single “Sober Up” which sits at #4 on the Alternative Radio chart.

AJR’s new music video for “Come Hang Out”, created in partnership with Original Penguin, debuted at the event. Centered around the greatest house party of all time, AJR, and their friends, are dressed head-to-toe in Original Penguin throughout the video, further establishing the brand as “what you wear for the good times”.

The Original Penguin spring 2018 collection is an optimistic personalization of references from a multitude of decades and sub-genres, creating a modern and unique aesthetic with 80’s sport references juxtaposed with 90’s casual and modern beach lifestyle.
