SCHOTT NYC AND BLACKSTOCK & WEBER COLLABORATE ON UNLINED PERFECTO JACKET

by John Russel Jones

Blackstock & Weber has joined forces with Schott NYC on a collaboration to mark the beginning of the S/S 2024 season. Schott, the creator of the iconic ‘Perfecto’ biker jacket, has fashioned the first-ever unlined Perfecto for the Brooklyn-based fashion and lifestyle brand founded by Chris Echevarria.

This innovative design exposes every intricate detail of stitching and piping, showcased through a heavy-duty two-way zipper meticulously crafted for this exclusive partnership. Crafted from sumptuously thick suede in a luscious caramel hue, each jacket is meticulously chosen for its ability to evolve over time—aging gracefully, weathering naturally, softening, fading, and acquiring a unique character with every wear.

Custom labels and Schott’s signature star hardware adorn the jacket, adding a personalized touch and paying homage to Schott’s illustrious heritage as one of the foremost brands in American fashion history. Notably, each star is meticulously applied by hand using a technique developed expressly for this collaboration, marking a historic first in Schott’s storied legacy.

With a commitment to artisanal craftsmanship, Schott continues to produce each jacket by hand at its factory in New Jersey—the same birthplace as Blackstock & Weber’s founder and Creative Director, Chris Echevarria.
