Today, more men are interested in clothing and grooming as an enjoyable aspect of their lifestyles but it wasn’t always that way. Many years ago, I recall that there were so few menswear product offerings that my friends and I would improvise; by making our own clothing from scratch or by finding old buried treasure pieces and re-fashioning them. At that time, (although we were unaware of it), we were trying to develop our own customization and style identity by appearing anti-culture. These days, we hear millennial’s boasting about disrupting as if they invented the concept, while the truth of the matter is that it has existed since the dawn of the apparel industry and will continue to move forward into the future of the apparel industry.
