Acclaimed menswear and womenswear designers and retailers, Sid and Ann Mashburn, opened the expansion of their Atlanta, Georgia shops at the Westside Provisions District on Tuesday, February 6. The 1,600-square foot lifestyle concept and coffee shop will serve as an extension of Sid and Ann’s current Atlanta flagship.

The new space will feature rotating seasonal and capsule collections, Sid Mashburn and Ann Mashburn branded items, curated personal finds and a 250-square foot coffee shop – a first for Mashburn – as an enhancement to the “third place” ethos that drives the brand’s retail philosophy.

For this Atlanta expansion, Sid & Ann Mashburn worked with their in-house architect on all design elements to ensure the space has a similar aesthetic and feel to their current stores in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. Outdoor design features include new “Mashburn” brass lettering and signage, a 65-foot awning over the front façade and café tables.

Inside, natural sunlight shines through skylights, welcoming customers into the clean space comprised of white walls and white oak hardwood. The store is accented with vintage Turkish kilim rugs, a vintage abstract mobile, and artwork from Atlanta-based artist Stephanie Henderson. The coffee bar will serve coffee beverages from King-State and Methodical roasters, and tea blends from Kusmi Teas, as well as a daily variety of assorted pastries from H&F Bread Co.

Similar to their current shops, Mashburn-branded items will live amongst classic and iconic brands – such as Diptyque candles and fragrances, Persol and Ray-Ban sunglasses, Swiss Army Knives, Caran D’Ache pencils and pens, and Moleskine notebooks. Additional merchandise will include a wider range of records and audio, home and office goods, stationery, books, beauty items, jewelry and accessories, and unique finds, all thoughtfully curated by Sid and Ann themselves.

With the expansion comes the highly anticipated roll-out of Kid Mashburn, a new product category for the brand. Kid Mashburn will be a full childrenswear collection (sizes 2Y – 8Y) with a playful twist. The styles feature all of the same high-quality fabrics, craftsmanship, and attention to detail as the brand’s adult apparel and include smaller versions of Mashburn classics for boys & girls such as Liberty-print dresses, skirts, button-down shirts, and bloomers; chambray and cotton oxford shirts; cotton and cashmere sweaters. The collection will range in price from $25 (t-shirts) to $175 (cashmere sweaters) and will be available exclusively in the Atlanta shop and Mashburn’s e-commerce store.

Sid and Ann, who recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of their company, are thrilled to bring this expanded offering to their hometown neighbors. “Our expansion is really an extension… of ourselves & what we already do,” they said in a joint statement. “We are super excited to have more space to spread out a bit and offer more of what we love — things we find, things we make, things we want to share. This just allows everything to breathe a bit — really, for us to share more things with more people! More love, more happiness, more everything.”
