SOCIETY FOR INTERNATIONAL MENSWEAR RETURNS FOR SECOND EDITION WITH 30% INCREASE IN EXHIBITORS
Society for International Menswear (SIM), the showcase for select international and domestic contemporary and sartorial brands, returns to the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City on Sunday, January 22nd, and Monday, January 23rd. The event will host leading menswear collections from the US, Canada, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, the UK, and other top fashion-producing nations. Industry veterans Lizette Chin and Coleman McCartan will manage the event under the Wainscot Media umbrella, publishers of MR Magazine, Footwear Plus, and Earnshaw’s Children’s publications.
Chin, Vice President and group publisher of the Luxury Group at Wainscot, notes the success and expansion of the show are built on brands that believe in the importance of New York as a fashion capital of North America. “SIM is a gateway for elevated brands wanting to do business in the North American market,” she adds.
The January 2023 show has grown by 30% and will include new collections, presenting at SIM for the first time including Adesi Cashmere, Ambitious, American Heritage, Amedeo Testoni, Am.A Line, Baindoux, Bread and Boxers, Carlos Santos, Christys London, Croclux, Fly 3, Hanro, Haus by Everton, Hublot Mode Marine, Left Coast Tee, Lenor Romano, Luchiano Visconti, Maison Felger, Marco Dal Maso, Montechiaro, Lorenzoni, Impulso, R2 Amsterdam, Twillory, and Warfield and Grand. The event roster continues to grow daily.
Returning exhibitor Michelle Wray of footwear brand Culture of Brave said of the show “SIM was hands down the best show we have been to! The entire team was absolutely wonderful. We had an unbelievable location, the team introduced so many incredible buyers to me and I am so grateful I exhibited.”
