SPY OPTICS TEAMS UP WITH RAY BARBEE FOR NEW GUITAR-INSPIRED STYLE
California-based eyewear brand Spy has introduced Tele, the brands first signature Crosstown collection sunglasses, created in collaboration with musician and legendary skateboarder Ray Barbee. The Tele is now available at spyoptic.com and select retailers nationwide.
Known for turning heads with his soulful six-string solos on his iconic Telecaster guitar, Barbee provided the inspiration for the new model and its limited-edition sunburst fade colorway. With every purchase of this new style and colorway, the customer will receive a custom case and a guitar pick.
“I worked hard with Spy to create a style that embodies the spirit of the Telecaster and I’m very happy to introduce the Tele,” said Barbee. “Drawing inspiration and taking aesthetic cues from my favorite guitar, the Tele pays homage to a one-of-a-kind instrument.”
