The Fashion World Mourns The Passing Of Trailblazing Editor André Leon Talley

The fashion firmament lost one of its brightest stars last night when legendary journalist, editor, and aesthete André Leon Talley died from a heart attack at the age of 73.

One of the industry’s most recognisable figures – and one of its most indomitable voices – Talley rose to international fame with the release of the 2009 Vogue documentary The September Issue, in which he featured dramatically lamenting the state of New York Fashion Week as a “famine of beauty” to his friend Vera Wang, while draped in mink.
