TIE BAR X WARREN ALFIE BAKER SEVEN-PIECE CAPSULE
Tie Bar has launched an exclusive collaboration with Warren Alfie Baker, a renowned menswear stylist who has dressed Andrew Garfield, Glen Powell, Matt Bomer, Patrick Dempsey, Diego Boneta, Finn Wolfhard, Dylan O’Brien, Richard Madden, Phil Dunster, and Sir Patrick Stewart. The Tie Bar x Warren Alfie Baker is a seven-piece capsule tie collection that is now available online and in the brand’s Chicago flagship store.
“It’s been a pleasure collaborating on this collection with such a strong authority and brand partner. Bringing both his styling eye and aesthetic to life, at a price that’s affordable for all, truly equaled the new must-have accessories for the season,” says Michelle Kohanzo, President of Tie Bar.
“In all honesty, I’m a tie collector! I’ve been working with the Tie Bar team for many years, collaborating on both custom and ready-to-wear pieces for my many red carpet needs, the process has always been so seamless that a personal design collaboration made perfect sense. To curate this collection with such a great and experienced team has been amazing,” says Baker.
Inspiration for the seven-piece collection is rooted in vintage textiles, evoking that signature 1960s and ’70s style, honoring the way cultural icons like Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger wore their vintage ties with elegance and without looking stuffy. The Baker and the Tie Bar design team wanted an accessories collection that showed no fear of bold pattern or color, one that enhanced both personal expression and taste for the wearer without overpowering their look.
The resulting capsule (retailing for $24 to $28) features a range of painted florals, marbled stripes, and a tonal pointed chevron, available in both 3” and 3.25″ widths. The capsule is capped off by a signature slim black bow scarf.
“Menswear has been taking more risks of late and using a lot more color. The true beauty of these pieces is that you can wear them in many different ways. Whether dressed up or toned down, any of these pieces are a superb accessory to add to any wardrobe,” adds Baker.
Warren Alfie Baker is a Los Angeles-based fashion stylist born in London England. In his formative years, Baker was style-obsessed and fascinated by the traditional bespoke tailors of the world-famous Savile Row. He brought his passion for men’s tailoring to the U.S. with a focus on male celebrity. News of the collaboration follows a landmark year for Baker that included being recognized as one The Hollywood Reporter’s 25 Most Powerful Stylists and being named Men’s Fashion Stylist of the Year by The Daily Front Row. Baker’s work has been featured in GQ (US, UK, Australia), ICON EL PAÍS, Variety, Esquire Mexico, and Rollacoaster.
