TIMEX TO LAUNCH METROPOLITAN+ IN OCTOBER
Timex will launch its newest timepiece, the Timex Metropolitan+ in October. The Timex Metropolitan+ is the first product that will be introduced in the brand’s new Connected Style Collection.
This activity tracker blends the functionality of an activity tracking band with the look and feel of a traditional men’s analog watch. The watch uses Bluetooth technology to connect to an app on your phone that tracks daily activity — including steps, distance and calories burned –- with no charging required. Wearers will be able to view their stats right on the watch dial, while the phone app stores all of the wearer’s data. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
The Metropolitan+ will debut in two different styles. One watch has a silver-tone case, a black dial with red accents and a textured leather strap. The other variation features a black case with a black dial and orange accents and comes with interchangeable black silicone and orange nylon straps. Both styles feature quick-release straps, as well Timex’s signature INDIGLO® night-light. The watches will retail from $125 to $150.
