TODD SNYDER LAUNCHES LATEST SHOE WITH PF FLYERS
Designer Todd Snyder and classic footwear brand PF Flyers has launched their latest shoe in their ongoing partnership: the Rambler 2.0. This newest iteration is “street meets sartorial”, mixing premium materials with an updated sporty silhouette and new foot-bed technology.
Based on an historical pair from the PF Flyers archives, the Rambler embodies the convergence of modern and vintage. The upper is crafted from luxe premium Cheveux lambskin leather in a range of urban neutrals, and contrasted with an all-white midsole. The height of the sole and foxing have been increased for a more prominent nod to street style. The Rambler is finished with folded edge and closed seam construction with the finest quality lambskin leather lining, sitting atop PF’s signature rigid wedge comfort insole and a foot-bed updated with new die cut plush EVA foam technology.
“Our ongoing collaboration with the PF Flyers team is a joy for a vintage lover like me,” said Snyder. “Each collection starts with a visit to the brand’s archives in Boston, and every time I discover amazing styles that have incredible relevance for today,” says Snyder. “This new style is based on an original pair from the archives, which we’ve tweaked and updated. With elevated, contemporary materials for the upper, this look is right with everything from jeans to a suit.”
The Rambler 2.0, in black, white and saddle brown Cheveux lambskin, retails for $160 and is now available on toddsnyder.com and pfflyers.com.
