TODD SNYDER OPENS NEW MENSWEAR BOUTIQUE ON ABBOT KINNEY

by John Russel Jones

Todd Snyder has just opened its latest retail location in Los Angeles, California’s Venice neighborhood, marking the brand’s 16th store in the United States. The new store, which opened on May 24th, is a 1,700-square-foot converted Craftsman bungalow that offers a curated luxury assortment of cabana-ready styles, tailoring, footwear, jewelry, apothecary, and accessories.

Located at 1337 Abbot Kinney Boulevard, the boutique is painted in the brand’s signature ‘Snyder Olive,’ accented by dark walnut trims and Craftsman doors. The airy, open interior layout features an earth-tone palette designed to evoke the natural beauty of the California coastline. Material accents include tambour wood and natural unfinished modular fixtures and paneling, Roman clay wash plastered walls, brass and Carrara marble detailing, and custom tile work by Clay. The brand collaborated with London-based luxury interior designer Rose Uniacke on custom upholstery and curtains throughout the space.

This location also boasts unique shop-in-shop experiences and personalized shopping services, including a vinyl record shop by Mr. Goodboy Record Carts and Light In The Attic Records. An outdoor area, furnished in partnership with Walter Lam by Brown Jordan Furniture, allows customers to enjoy an espresso while shopping.
