TOMMY HILFIGER AMONG HONOREES AT THIS YEAR’S FGI NIGHT OF STARS GALA
Maryanne Grisz, president and CEO of The Fashion Group International (FGI), revealed the names of the 2021 honorees for this year’s Night of Stars gala to be held on October 13th at Cipriani on South Street in Manhattan. Among this year’s honorees, designer Tommy Hilfiger will receive the Superstar and Lifetime Achievement Award.
“In a year of transformation, evolution, and emotion, we are delighted to be together as a community once again,” said Grisz. “FGI celebrates these incredible visionaries, who, through their creativity, innovation, and drive, represent true leadership, a deeper meaning around the event, and where we are going as an industry.”

“This year in an effort to observe CDC restrictions & guidelines, FGI is investigating pre-screening for vaccinations, onsite testing, touchless entry to be sure that our guests feel protected and experience the luxury evening to which they are accustomed,” added James D’Adamo, chairman of the FGI Board, “We are encouraging our guests to arrive wearing creative face masks.”
For the first time, there is an FGI Night of stars pre-party hosted by Vanguard honorees Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim on October 12th from 6-7:30pm at the Oscar de la Renta store at 772 Madison Avenue. Proceeds benefit the Fashion Group Foundation and its educational mission. Limited tickets are available at fgi.org.
A star-studded red carpet, black-tie dinner, and awards gala, FGI’s Night of Stars is among the fall season’s most anticipated events and is expected to draw celebrities from the international worlds of fashion, entertainment, and business. Ruben Toledo will once again create exclusive artwork for the gala’s invitation and commemorative journal. The list of Presenters will be announced at a later date.
