TRUE RELIGION LAUNCHES TEAM TRUE PLATFORM TO FORM A DEEPER CONNECTION WITH INFLUENCERS

True Religion has launched a new content-creator platform called Team True. This initiative aims to move beyond typical influencer culture to bring together individuals from sports, music, film, and fashion who have a genuine connection to the brand and its consumers.

Kristen D’Arcy, True Religion CMO, explained that Team True is a community of cultural icons and content creators who resonate with the brand’s core audience. “They are enthusiastic friends of our brand whom we’ve brought on board not simply to outfit but, more importantly, to hear and incorporate their ideas. We’ve gotten some incredible insights on everything from potential collaborations to philanthropic opportunities,” D’Arcy said.

True Religion is known for collaborating with creative talents and has recently partnered with figures such as Saweetie, Chief Keef, and the Hoop Bus. The Team True roster features 21 personalities, including actors, musicians, and athletes. The brand plans to expand this number significantly in the coming years.

One notable member of Team True is India Love Westbrooks, a prominent social media personality who first collaborated with True Religion in the brand’s Holiday 2023 campaign. Westbrooks expressed her excitement about working with True Religion, stating, “I love True Religion and everything that it stands for. I’m so excited to continue to expand my relationship with the brand and honored to be a member of Team True.”

True Religion’s new platform reflects its ongoing commitment to engaging with creative talent and fostering authentic relationships with its audience. The team roster includes Zay Wilson of “The Ultimatum,” Grammy-nominated R&B singer Kenyon Dixon. G-League NBA player London Johnson, and actor, athlete, and writer Sheldon Bailey, among others.
