Uber Will Now Deliver Your Nordstrom Clothes And Flowers Too

Apparently Uber’s New Year’s resolution was to prove it’s more than just cars in 2016. Uber on Thursday announced plans to begin making same-day deliveries in select U.S. cities for a host of notable brands and retailers, including Nordstrom, Rent the Runway, 1800Flowers, Cole Haan and Google Express. The move marks Uber’s biggest step into the competitive and much-hyped same-day delivery market, pitting the $62 billion ride-hailing company against large corporations like Amazon and fast-growing startups like DoorDash and Postmates.
