UJA Menswear Luncheon Draws 550

NEW YORK – The big brass of the menswear business were out on Thursday afternoon as the industry honored its own.

David Levin, president and CEO of Casual Male Retail Group, and Steve Koster, menswear president of Burlington Coat Factory, proved two formidable retail honorees, and Joe Gordon, senior executive vice president of George Weintraub & Sons, did the wholesale side of the business proud. DNR’s Stan Gellers made off with the Lifetime Achievement Award and gave the attendees a history lesson in the process, while MC Stewie Stone gave everyone a lesson on the delicate art of ethnic humor in Montana.
