VINCE CAMUTO TO BE HONORED AT SAMUEL WAXMAN CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION BENEFIT
The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation will host its 19th Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction, posthumously honoring footwear industry icon Vince Camuto on Thursday, November 10 at Cipriani Wall Street. The evening will be hosted by Chris Wragge, co-anchor of CBS 2 News This Morning, and feature a musical performance by rock legend Roger Daltrey (of The Who).
The event will mark the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation by noted oncologist Samuel Waxman. It will introduce the SWCRF Vince Camuto Memorial Cancer Research Program in honor of Vince Camuto, who was founder of Camuto Group, who passed away of prostate cancer in 2015. Louise Camuto, Chief Creative Officer of Camuto Group, will accept the honor in memory of her husband.
More than 1,000 corporate executives, board members, and their guests are expected at the event, which also include live and silent auctions on an exciting selection of exclusive items.
