VUARNET RELEASES NEW COLLABORATION WITH THE ARRIVALS
French sunglass brand Vuarnet and outerwear brand The Arrivals have teamed up on a new eyewear capsule.
This capsule features two exclusive colors of Vuarnet’s Edge Round style that combines a stainless steel frame with deep acetate rims paired with the brand’s mineral glass lenses. The first colorway features a bold black-on-black frame with Vuarnet’s Greylynx lenses. The second features a white metal frame accented with translucent white acetate and Vuarnet’s yellow Nightlynx lenses.
“We are thrilled to bring this collaboration to the U.S. market,” said Lionel Giraud, CEO of Vuarnet. “It was an interesting creative process bringing together Vuarnet, a sunglass brand associated with day and The Arrivals, and outwear brand personified by black leather moto jackets and night. For me, this collaboration is all about reconciling the two and the result is a stunning interpretation of an iconic Vuarnet style.”
“I’ve always been inspired by eyewear, as a design category that merges ergonomics, aesthetics, and identity through a performative lens,” added Jeff Johnson, co-founder and creative director of The Arrivals. “We were thrilled to work hand in hand with Vuarnet’s Paris design studio to develop this exclusive eyewear collaboration fusing Vuarnet’s performative roots with The Arrivals graphic identity.”
The Vuarnet x The Arrivals collection is now available exclusively at The Arrivals online store as well as its pop-up shops in New York, L.A., and San Francisco, retailing for $345.
