Silk shirts, cowboy hats, and fringed jackets are among the wild west-inspired pieces rustled up by a number of brands for autumn/ winter 21 and spring/ summer 22, including Italian heritage label Fiorucci and Beyoncé’s athleisure label Ivy Park. Ivy Park Rodeo, the fourth iteration of Beyoncé’s collaboration with Adidas, was inspired by the history and style of black cowboys and cowgirls in the US. Actor and real-life rodeo champion Glynn Turman, who founded charitable organization Camp Gid-D-Up, a western-style summer camp for underprivileged children, features in the advertising campaign, alongside his granddaughter Melinda Siegel, who teaches horse riding at the organization.
