Why Napapijri Launches Another Anorak

Napapijri, the outdoor and sportswear brand, has just launched Northfarer, a new eco-friendly interpretation of the anorak jacket, a style that is deeply tied to the brand’s own origins and love of nature.

The anorak, whose name comes from “anoraq,” a term that in Kaalalisiut language indicates the traditional highly protective jacket made from animal leather to be worn from the head, was reinterpreted in various ways throughout the brand’s lifetime since its foundation in 1987.
