Why Sears Holdings Owner Eddie Lampert Needs Help — Now

There are many stories about Sears and how this once-proud retailer has been brought down. After much infighting, and with mixed feelings by many observers, Eddie Lampert was awarded the right to continue the business. On one hand, I am very glad that the Sears nameplate will survive, and he will continue to operate about 450 stores. Many associates will retain their jobs, which is important.
