After months of lying dormant, sleepy retail is now coming back to life. Stores which were deemed non-essential and those that weren’t now either opening or planning to reopen. Images of four hour queues at Ikea up and down the country tell their own picture, because, in reality, for months, we’ve all been harbouring a longing for that new Billy bookcase and that Koppang chest of drawers. Not only that, but frankly, that home cooking is actually rubbish.
