WINDOWSWEAR ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF SIXTH ANNUAL AWARDS
Over 400 guests gathered at NYC’s Up & Down on Tuesday, January 30 for the 6th annual WindowsWear Awards, honoring the best in fashion window displays. Simon Doonan, the former creative director of Barneys, hosted the event.
Among the top honorees were Brioni for its October 2017 display at its Barcelona store featuring an image of Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins; Burberry for its March 2017 display at its New York store featuring both men’s and women’s clothing; Calvin Klein for its “yellow” display in October 2017 at its New York store; and Lord & Taylor, who won for best “animated” window for its New York holiday display in November 2017.
Other winners included Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, Christian Louboutin, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Diane von Furstenberg, Emporio Armani, Fendi, Gucci, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Henri Bendel, Hermès, Kate Spade, Kleinfeld Bridal, Loewe, Loro Piana, Louis Vuitton, Macy’s, Marc Jacobs, Max Mara, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges, Tiffany & Co, Tod’s, Tory Burch, and Under Armour.
