With no clearly established New York market week this season, a collective of ten showrooms have come together in the hopes of getting buyers back to the city that never sleeps at the same time.

Called the Showroom/Agency Consortium of New York (SACNY for short), the new New York market week will be taking place in each participating showroom’s respective spaces the week of July 19th. Showrooms coming together for this initiative include 309 Works, 4M Archetype, A Constant Wave, Black Dog Showroom, Bloodworth & Co., J Squared, PBLC Trade Showroom, Peregrine Showroom, Plus Plus, and Westerlind.

“Since there is no official major trade show in New York this season, and no one else stepped up to make spring/summer ‘22 market week happen here, we decided the best way was to get together the best NYC showrooms and essentially create our own market week,” Grant Bloodworth, owner of Bloodworth & Co., tells MR. “We have all been dealing with uncertainty for so long and our buyers are yearning for a return to in-person shows. All of us participating in this new market week are all vaccinated and decided that now was the time to launch our own thing. If we didn’t do it, no one else would.”
