3X1 DENIM PARTNERS WITH BERTO ITALIAN MILL TO LAUNCH HAND-LOOMED COLLECTION
NYC-based luxury denim maker 3×1 will host premium Italian mill, Berto, in its 15 Mercer Street shop, November 11-16, to celebrate the U.S. launch of Le Mani, a collection of hand-loomed denim.
A handloom will be brought in from Italy in order to showcase the hand-woven process in-store. Only three yards of denim can be created each day, and the 100 percent cotton super-soft denim will be available in two colors, a dark indigo and a medium indigo. As a result, only 10 pairs of each hand loomed denim will be available to 3×1 customers as either custom or bespoke creations. Prices will range from $1,525 for custom denim to $2,200 for bespoke denim.
“We’re excited to welcome Le Mani to 3×1, where we’ll witness some of the finest denim in the world being woven by hand in our shop,” said 3×1 founder Scott Morrison.
