ABC’S DOCTOR ODYSSEY TEAMS UP WITH SAKS FIFTH AVENUE TO CELEBRATE SHOW LAUNCH

We’ve come to expect everything from vampires to singing teenagers to 1980s vogue balls from Hollywood multi-hyphenate Ryan Murphy. This season sees the release of his cruise ship drama Doctor Odyssey (on ABC and Hulu), where the new on-board doctor of a luxury cruise ship and his small but capable medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other. The show stars Joshua Jackson, Phillipa Soo, Sean Teale, and, as the ship’s captain, Don Johnson.

The luxurious drama is being brought to life with various nationwide initiatives, including complimentary shopping sprees at top destinations in Los Angeles and a partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue featuring a $10K shopping spree and window displays at the New York City flagship store.

Surprise Shopper Upgrades

In addition to the partnership with Saks, last week ABC treated customers to surprise shopping sprees, complimentary champagne service, private dining experiences, luxury grooming, personal styling sessions, and much more at The Grove, The Americana, and Palisades Village. The first 500 shoppers at each location received reusable Doctor Odyssey shopping bags.

Upper Deck Luxury Giveaway

Through October 15, the ABC network will set sail with the ultimate wish fulfillment giveaway. In partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, one lucky winner will receive a fantasy-inspired Grand Prize featuring luxuries such as a trip for two to New York City, a $10K designer shopping spree, spa treatments, fine dining experiences, and a cash prize to help fund the winner’s dream cruise. This national campaign will be amplified nationally by Saks Fifth Avenue and ABC affiliate stations nationwide.

Doctor Odyssey Takeover at Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC

ABC and Saks are collaborating on a 360º campaign that includes exclusive editorial storytelling and digital banners on Saks.com to drive awareness for the series. Doctor Odyssey will also be featured in five window displays at Saks’ New York City flagship store through October 2nd,  depicting scenes from the series, complete with authentic props and costumes from the set.
