AMERICAN FIELD POP-UP MARKET MOVES ONLINE TO PROMOTE SMALL BUSINESS

by Stephen Garner

Menswear pop-up market American Field is continuing its efforts to support its community of vendors in its online initiative A.F. Live.

It’s second virtual event, headlined by New Balance, aims to serve as a forum to establish authentic connections between brands struggling in the face of COVID-19 and consumers sheltering at home.

New Balance, led by Chris Davis, the footwear brand’s vice president of global marketing, joins the roster of brands from the fashion, beauty, home, design, and craft beer industries, including Ball and Buck, Red Wing Heritage, and United By Blue. Each brand will share insights into marketing in the age of Coronavirus, answer questions about the effects of COVID-19 on small businesses, and offer exclusive discounts to shop and support American business.

“We have all been affected by COVID-19, especially small businesses and retailers,” said Mark Bollman, founder of American Field. “These events offer a form of escape for people sheltering at home and the unprecedented opportunity to connect directly with the founders and CEO’s of leading brands across the Nation. Combine that with access to exclusive promotions and offers, and you’ve got the perfect way to spend your Sunday afternoon.”

Bollman introduced American Field in 2012, redefining the modern shopping experience in an effort to bring together the best brands in emerging and innovating fashion, lifestyle, wellness, decor, and beverages in one place. Through A.F. Live, over a total of 50 brands will come together virtually to offer a curated interactive shopping experience for those sheltering at home.

A.F. Live will take place at https://live.shopaf.co/ on May 14th at 8pm EST.
