AUTHENTIC BRANDS OPENS MEXICO CITY HEADQUARTERS
Authentic Brands Group (ABG) has announced the opening of ABG Mexico, adding to the company’s footprint in key international markets. Located in the prestigious Colonia Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City, ABG Mexico is dedicated to generating growth opportunities for the company’s portfolio across Mexico, Central and South America.
ABG’s new office outpost houses a dedicated team with expertise in business development, brand management, marketing and visual merchandising. Coinciding with the opening of ABG Mexico, the company announces the appointment of Monica Nahúm as VP Business Development for Latin America. Having held senior-level positions at Mattel and The Walt Disney Company and represented studios such as Fox, Sesame Street, and NFL, Nahúm specializes in brand development, licensing, consumer products and retail. She now leads the charge in driving ABG’s momentum across Mexico and Latin America and establishing strategic partnerships for its brands in the marketplace.
The launch of ABG Mexico further broadens the ABG enterprise, whose flagship headquarters are located in New York. The company also has offices in Toronto, Shanghai, and Los Angeles and will continue to grow its global presence with its expansion into Europe in 2020.

Its portfolio additionally includes lifestyle brand Nautica, which launched in Mexico over two decades ago and today offers full assortments for men, women, and kids in the region, with key collections available in all Liverpool and El Palacio de Hierro department stores. Other ABG-owned fashion lifestyle brands including Aéropostale and Nine West have also established a strong presence across Mexico and Latin America in recent years, each with approximately 350 points of distribution across the region.
