BACKSTAGE ACCESS: NAUTICA SWIM

I was originally considering calling this article The Trials and Tribulations of a Fashion Director/Photographer, but I think you’ll agree, it’s a bit wordy.

Last week at NYFWM, I was invited backstage by the Nautica team to photograph the preparations for their SS16 swim presentation. “The swim collection is inspired by the sea, and the modern architectural icons of the New York City skyline,” explained VP of global men’s design, Steve McSween. “We’ve included updated sportswear pieces, so the swim takes on this energy and sophistication, fusing a day in the city with a weekend in Montauk.”
