The Bal Harbour Shops Access Pop-up Tour, the first-ever traveling luxury retail event, will be making its next stop in Greenville, South Carolina for eight weeks from August 23 – October 17.

This will be the fourth time that the Bal Harbour-based luxury shopping location, a favorite, celebrity-loved destination in the most northern tip of Miami Beach, has chosen to take its unique experience on the road, with previous stops in Raleigh, North Carolina, Sarasota, Florida and Walton County, Florida. For the first four weeks of the Pop-up, esteemed brands such as Tiffany & Co., Balmain, Golden Goose, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Etro, Scanlan Theodore, Assouline, Santa Maria Novella, and Veronica Beard will be available to shop, while the last four weeks will feature brands including Monnalisa, Addict and Etro + Cremieux.

“We’re thrilled to bring the tropical, luxury shopping and dining experience of Bal Harbour to Greenville for the first time,” said Matthew Whitman Lazenby, President and Chief Executive Officer of Whitman Family Development. “With this roving Pop-up, we introduce a new and innovative solution at the crossroads of high-touch personal service and high-tech logistics to deliver on our mission and impact and impress our guests with our distinctive level of excellence.”

The Bal Harbour Shops Access Pop-up features a fully designed and custom-built project by LOT-EK, spanning 17,000 sq. feet and featuring a curated collection of the elegant shops and luxury boutiques that Bal Harbour Shops is famous for.

“We’re excited the Bal Harbour team elected to bring its one-of-a-kind pop-up concept to Haywood Mall, which is a shopper favorite in the region, known for its carefully curated lineup of first-to-market retail, dining and experiences,” said Eric Sadi, Co-President of Malls at Simon. “Through the collaboration, we’re bringing new brands to this vibrant market and are eager to see how Greenville and the surrounding community responds, which we feel could be invaluable feedback as we consider future leasing options for the center.”

Built from 30 custom-built shipping containers, the branded pop-up will include covered walkways with fans, a retractable canopy, and a fine dining restaurant called “The Whitman” that will seat 150 people, with a full bar and lounge. The environment will showcase Bal Harbour Shops’ palm tree motif and garden-like bright green monstera leaf signature design. Koi ponds, fountains, and planters filled with lush greenery, along with piped-in music, all of which help bring the entire tropical, Zen-like atmosphere of Bal Harbour Shops to life.

The selected luxury brands will have custom-built, well-lit, air-conditioned modern spaces, either small, medium, or large executed in crisp white with glass fronts. Spaces will be fully fitted with furniture, panels, shelving, and vitrines to highlight merchandise. Boutique sizes range from 250 square feet to 640 square feet or more.

As the fourth stop on the Access Pop-up Tour, the Greenville Pop-up, located at Haywood Mall, a Simon mall, (700 Haywood Rd, Greenville, SC 29607), promises to bring a mix of luxury, fashion, and dining that Bal Harbour is known for, but with a touch of unique small-town charm, that can only be found in Greenville. Throughout the activation, the Pop-up will also host weekly events.

The Pop-up will kick off its Greenville residency with a Grand Opening Party that brings a taste of Miami to Greenville on Friday, August 23. Guests will delight in complimentary cocktails, Latin-inspired hors d’oeuvres, and a surprise musical guest to celebrate the grand opening of the Bal Harbour Access Pop-up Tour. Haywood Mall and Bal Harbour will continue to announce weekly event updates as they arise.
