There are few pants companies that can deliver like Ballin. With its huge in-stock program (125,000 pants, sizes 30-46, up to size 60 big-and-tall, ready to ship at any given moment) comprising a broad range of fabrics, colors, and patterns, Ballin is the primary pants supplier to many better specialty stores. Its core dress pants retail from $175-$250, Ballin Casuals (including five-pockets) run from $150-$195 and 6 East (upgraded make in luxury fabrics) retails from $300-$400. While many models are available in three fits (traditional, updated and slim), most business is in the first two categories.

And now there’s more! The brand’s newest division–IC&P, standing for innovation, comfort, and performance—features contemporary models (slim-fits, drawstrings, five-pockets, cargo pocket insets) in mostly performance fabrics that are washable, quick-drying, moisture-wicking, wrinkle-resistant, etc.

“It’s exciting for us,” says Ballin’s VP of Sales Rob McCoy. “Not only are we getting into new upscale accounts but even our traditional stores are buying this product, especially the innovative stretch fabrics out of Italy.” Retail prices on IC&P run from $225 for the Travel Cottons to $275 for other fabrics in the category. “We’ve come full circle,” says McCoy. “You might not remember but back in the day, Ballin was king of microfiber. Let’s hope this performance craze proves just as successful.”
