Los Angeles cool-kid brand Band of Outsiders returned to the runway on Saturday, September 10, just one year after founder and designer Scott Sternberg shuttered operations of the 12-year-old brand.

The brand, now Sternberg-less, has since been resurrected and is now designed by three guys who met at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium – Niklaus Hodel, Florian Feder and Matthias Weber – who have looked to the brand’s L.A. roots for inspiration.

This new collection, the trio’s first, looks to L.A. street culture, where comfort is king.  Oversized silhouettes are paired with classic pieces as to not overwhelm, while plaids and classic collegiate shapes run throughout the collection.

Now with a focus of classic American sportswear with a touch of European flair, we wait to see what the future holds for the new Band of Outsiders.
