BERLUTI INTRODUCES NEW SNEAKER

by Stephen Garner

Berluti has introduced a brand-new sneaker to its collection. Named “Pulse,” this original low-cut model – combining state-of-the-art design and a subtle retro wink – finds the sweet spot between sport and ultra-trendy.

Pulse is the latest sneaker to embody Berluti’s classic yet up-to-date sporty spirit, also epitomized by the emblematic Gravity, Fast Track, and Shadow models.

Inspired by artistic director Kris Van Assche’s New Wave-infused collections for the brand, Pulse mixes sporty technical elements – a thick rubber outsole with flashy collection-inspired streaks in orange and blue, nylon details in the upper – with staples of Berluti’s DNA, including Vitello and patinated Venezia leather, Signature Canvas and bootmaker hand stitching. Cut out and assembled in different combinations, materials display Berluti’s distinctive know-how.

Pulse is available in two versions. First up, a Signature Canvas, nylon, and Vitello leather model featuring the brand’s new Signature Canvas motif – Berluti’s emblematic monogram mixing its crest, Scritto elements, and the letter “B” over a deep black grained surface. This sneaker has a trendy, sporty feel to it. Two different versions exist, with blue or orange details in Vitello leather in the upper and on the heel of the sole.

Meanwhile, a Venezia, nylon, and Vitello leather variation takes on an emblematic TDM Intenso patina that renders it formal and luxurious, yet comfortable.

The new Berluti Pulse sneakers are available now from Berluti.com.
