BIRDWELL AND PENDLETON WOOLEN MILLS LAUNCH SUMMER COLLECTION

Birdwell, the American boardshorts brand, has partnered with Pendleton Woolen Mills on a collaborative summer capsule. The limited-edition collection features thoughtful designs for men and women produced with veneration for timeless California surf style. Each item features Pendleton’s distinct “Rancho Arroyo” diamond motif, which represents Southern California’s Lopez Lake, located amongst the sage scrub and oak woodland of the Los Padres National Forest.

The collection includes the key swim, clothing, and accessory styles, including Birdie Boardshorts in PWM Turquoise, a mid-length, 4-way stretch boardshort. The Wright Short, Birdwell’s active leisure short, the Terry Poncho in PWM Brown, a hooded towel poncho in Pendleton Woolen Mills Brown and the Rancho Arroyo print. The collaboration also includes a T-shirt and snapback cotton twill cap. Retails are $85 for shorts, $99.50 for the poncho, and $50 for the T-shirt or cap. It is available on the Birdwell and Pendleton websites and in brick-and-mortar Pendleton retail locations.
