BLOOMINGDALE’S LINKS WITH ASTROLOGER SUSAN MILLER ON NEXT CAROUSEL SHOP
With the start of a New Year, Bloomingdale’s is looking to the stars and planets for the latest rendition of The Carousel @Bloomingdale’s, this time all about astrology. The retailer’s rotating pop-up shop driven by culturally-relevant themes and curated by guest tastemakers, is bringing this celestial theme to life with wildly-popular astrologer Susan Miller to serve as the guest curator.
As guests explore the pop-up, they will be guided through Miller’s favorite finds inspired by the four zodiac elements: Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius), Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces).
“I am thrilled that Bloomingdale’s came to me with the idea of having a pop-up shop devoted to astrology, called Astrology Zone, the name of my website,” said Miller. “Everyone loves astrology’s ability to predict future trends. We wanted the shop to go a step further by showing shoppers how to find the perfect item for themselves, or as a gift for others, by knowing their sign or element (fire, air, earth, or water). I love this idea, for it will heighten the fun of shopping.”
Miller brings her knowledge of the astrology field to curate one-of-a-kind gifts across over 120 brands in fashion, beauty, and home, including disco-inspired finds from Rezek Studio, SVNR jewelry made from natural materials and Skeem candles to cleanse one’s room. The pop-up also features Eberjey pajamas, Maison Labiche t-shirts, Phat Buddha activewear, and Miller’s 2020 year-ahead calendar.
The Carousel @Bloomingdales: Astrology Zone is now open through March 1st at five locations nationwide including 59th Street, SoHo, Century City, San Francisco and the Shops at Riverside, along with bloomingdales.com.
Those looking to personally ask Miller a burning question about their horoscope will have the chance to meet her during upcoming personal appearances, in addition to enjoying zodiac lattes, sign-specific embroidery, and other celestial activities. Tickets can be purchased here which come with a $75 gift card upon check-in at the event.
