BLOOMINGDALE’S MOVES KEVIN HARTER TO INTEGRATED MARKETING ROLE
Bloomingdale’s has announced that its vice president of fashion direction for Men’s and Home, Kevin Harter, has moved to its Integrated Marketing department as group vice president, effective immediately. Harter will now report to Frank Berman, executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
In his new position, Harter will develop and lead integrated marketing strategies for key merchandising initiatives and seasonal campaigns. Harter will spearhead strategic third-party partnerships aimed at creating compelling marketing messaging, brand augmentation and ultimately delivering a powerful, differentiated customer experience.
In addition, Harter will now oversee special events and marketing press strategy. Reporting to him will be Bloomingdale’s vice president of special events, operating vice president of Public Relations and director of Integrated Marketing and Partnerships.
Harter began his career with Bloomingdale’s in the North Michigan store in 1988 and joined the store’s Executive Training Program in 1990.
In 1993, he joined the central merchant organization as a buyer in Men’s. In 2004, he was named operating vice president of fashion direction for Men’s and in 2006 promoted to vice president of fashion direction for Men’s and Home.
