Bloomingdale’s names Eilert DMM men’s sportswear
Kristen Eilert has been named operating VP and DMM of men’s classic sportswear, Polo and basics at Bloomingdale’s. Eilert fills an opening left by Dan Leppo, who was recently named SVP of Northeast region stores. She will report to men’s and young world GMM David Fisher.
Eilert was previously a VP/DMM in the young world division.
“Kristen is a proven merchant and leader, and has our total confidence and support as she moves into this new role,” commented Fisher. “Her broad experience in the men’s buying and planning organizations has made her the ideal candidate.”
Leppo’s move prompted a refining of the three men’s divisions, explained Fisher. “Two segments of Dan’s previous responsibility, shoes and accessories, are now under Scott Polworth and Doreen Minch respectively. The majority of Dan’s division, by far, was all classic sportswear, and that is the position that Kristen assumes now.”
