The Blue Jacket Fashion Show—an event founded by designer Frederick Anderson to create a platform to openly discuss men’s health issues with an emphasis on cancer education, early detection, prevention, and treatment options—made its West Coast debut last week on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, as a part of L.A. Fashion Week hosted at the W Hotel in Hollywood, California. The event featured appearances by Anderson, Rodney and Holly Robinson Peete, Omar Sharif Jr., Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Eric West, Harold Perrineau, Michael Richards, John Hill, Joey Zauzig, Eric Stanton Betts, Young Paris, Paul Telfer, Robert Scott Wilson, Marshall Glaze, Marc Malkin, Anthony Allen Ramos, and Joshua Uduma.

The event, sponsored by Johnson & Johnson, brought top celebrities and the media together to engage in a national conversation about men’s health and prostate cancer awareness among communities of color. It benefitted the nonprofit advocacy group Zero Prostate Cancer.
