For Arone, a former Division 1 wrestler, UFC has always held a special place in his heart. During his childhood in Waltham, just six miles outside Boston, countless nights were devoted to watching an array of rented UFC VHS tapes in the family basement. Those early nostalgic beginnings of UFC resonated deeply with him, as its unapologetic and determined spirit mirrored the same ethos that Boston Scally would later hang its scally hat on, prioritizing family, fortitude, honesty, and authenticity every step of the way.
