BRETT EDWARD STOUT JOINS MR AS WEB EDITOR

Brett Edward Stout has joined the MR team as its Web Editor. A Cedar Rapids, Iowa native and a United States Marine, Stout has served as Executive Director of the Honolulu Gay and Lesbian Cultural Foundation and of the Rainbow Film Festival. He is the author of A Gay Marine’s Story, a novel series that includes Sugar-baby Bridge, Semper Civilian, and Point and Shoot. Stout has regularly contributed to OUT Magazine, The Advocate, ACCESSline Iowa, Watermark Orlando, Gay.net, and other publications.

“I’m very pleased to bring Brett on board,” says John Russel Jones, MR Magazine Managing Editor. “His clear writing, editing, and organizational skills, as well as his sense of initiative, are just what we need to take MR-Mag.com to the next level.”

Jones, the site’s former web editor, will continue as managing editor for the print publication and in a contributing, advisory role on the website.
