BRETT JOHNSON UNVEILS NEW FALL/WINTER COLLECTION
Brett Johnson has dropped its Autumn-Winter 2024-25 collection. It was inspired by a trip to the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland. Its palette recalls nature: the moss of the undergrowth, rocks against the intense blue of the sky, the deep green of the woods, waters of the rushing streams, the burgundy of the leaves in winter, and, above all, snow.
Fabrics range from Mongolian and baby cashmere to cashmere-suede and 14-micron wool. Garments include bomber jackets, raincoats, parkas with a military feel, super light shearling jackets, suede or precious double wool field jackets, and coats with loose and clean lines.
The knitwear features enveloping models in pure cashmere, further embellished with ton-sur-ton leather details, hand-stitched on the back neck, pocket linings, and piping that covers the palladium-plongé zips. The trousers offer a reinterpretation of the chino and elegant five-pockets trousers in embossed corduroy, and also a new model with coulisse and matching zip. Every detail communicates a contemporary tailoring and a casual attitude.
