Brian Trunzo Starring on Bravo’s The Singles Project
The menswear industry might notice a familiar face on Bravo’s latest reality show: Brian Trunzo, co-owner of Manhattan’s Carson Street Clothiers, will be looking for love on national TV this summer. The Singles Project is a real-time docu-drama that follows six single entrepreneurial New Yorkers searching for The One.
Since Carson Street takes up most of Trunzo’s time, the store will make recurring appearances. There’s been tons of promotion around NYC in anticipation of the August 12th premiere. When asked if Trunzo has noticed an uptick in business, he says, “We’ve noticed a little spike, but that’s tough to gauge since we’re also getting in our fall full-price merchandise in. I guess we’ll know for sure on August 13th.”
Trunzo also says his business partner Matt Breen has been extremely supportive of his involvement on the show. “He’s even suggesting potential dates to the producers,” he says. “But aside from dating, it’s pretty cool to see the #menswear community front and center on national TV.” Hopefully the show will continue to boost the interest in menswear among consumers, and maybe Trunzo will even meet the woman of his dreams!
The Singles Project airs on Tuesdays at 10/9 Central on Bravo. It premieres on August 12.
