Cadillac to Sponsor New York Fashion Week: Men’s
Cadillac, which has been a sponsor of Agentry PR’s New York Men’s Day since 2013, has announced that it will also sponsor the CFDA’s New York Fashion Week: Men’s. The luxury automaker calls the partnership a multi-season deal.
“The rise of menswear in the world of style provides a great opportunity to celebrate those who are true risk takers and innovators,” said Cadillac’s director of brand strategy and planning Melody Lee. “As the presenting sponsor of New York Men’s Day and a supporting partner of New York Fashion Week: Men’s, Cadillac will play a significant role in unifying the world of men’s fashion and further enabling those who dare greatly.”
“We are very pleased to partner with Cadillac on the inaugural New York Fashion Week: Men’s,” added Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA. “The partnership is a natural fit given Cadillac’s commitment to design.”
The CFDA announced its plan to launch a separate fashion week for the menswear market last February. Amazon’s fashion sites (Amazon Fashion, East Dane, and MyHabit) signed on as the main sponsors, along with Shinola, DreamWorks Animation and Dockers.
